I really like how these feel, and I can at least recommend them if you are wearing loose or thick tops over them. I noticed right away, though, that when a top sits flat against the waistline, the string of elastic shows—not so much as a drawstring but still apparent. More than that, the place where the horizontal seam of the waist and the vertical fake zipper threads meet does poke out a little and show even more than the elastic. That might bug some who planned to wear form-fitting sleek tops over these. More than that, though, a caveat is the pockets. The top on the pair I received tends to, even when I make sure to push the inside all the way in/down, poke out a bit, making me have to tug at them periodically and whenever I stand up. Not a dealbreaker, not entirely, at least, but it reminded me of why I tend to avoid high rise pants. As soon as pants are more than a couple inches above my hips (and I’m a pretty standard hourglass shape with skinny bones/a narrow skeletal build overall), any pants that aren’t very dense and structured can have bulging top of pocket areas as if my pelvic bone has deeply offended them and they’re protesting.With those nitpicking details out of the way, let me stress again these are really comfortable right out of the bag (and unlike 90% of what Amazon ships, they didn’t stink of factory chemicals so since they aren’t near my face or touching anywhere sensitive, I wore them straight from the bag the manufacturer sent them in for a very big change from my norm—I tend to wash everything in a deep clean cycle on arrival as they honestly have the most contamination when brand new from all the machinery, the bad air quality, the oversaturation of dyes, and so on)… I have worn them running errands, going for annual diagnostic imaging that involved a lot of sitting and waiting before and between different tests and after for the doc to sign off on being done, and to grab dinner. I haven’t done yoga in them but can see them being fine for that, too, though the sewn pleats in the front make them seem a bit dressier than I would do yoga in.I can’t say how well they’ll keep this shape, but the elastic springs back well so far even though I’m not at all gentle with them. I also noticed they’re easy to spot clean—in my case a bit of toothpaste gel when my phone rang and I accidentally flipped the toothbrush in my hand before grabbing it. I’m sure white paste would’ve required more than the pink strawberry gel, but I could quickly get it off and still wear them with no signs of staining (they since got tossed in the laundry, but I was in a hurry earlier).If your workplace is not law firm level business dress code, most will be able to get away with these for work pants-they look like dress pants even though the back “pockets” are fake as is the “hidden button/zipper” area of the front. If I was guessing the brand they’re trying to be a cozy lookalike to, I’d say some Ann Taylor or Petite Sophisticate offerings or certain J. Crew ones of years past. I wouldn’t wear them to an event I wanted to impress anyone, no, but colleagues are the last people I’ve ever cared to visually impress, so take your own situation and presence or lack of nagging fashion police superior (or potential future superior) into account.There is one definite ideal situation for these: travel “slacks.” They don’t wrinkle much if you roll them neatly when packing, and in wearing them out, I haven’t had mine develop wrinkles, either, so the spandex is doing its job quite well! If you want to have something that can look good enough to wear to dinner but also be comfortable enough to lounge and drink cocktails or curl up and read a book wearing, these fit well. The pockets can be useful for a small thin wallet (for your ID, a credit card and small bit of cash ie the type of thin bifold that comes with bigger wallets as an insert you can carry separately) or small phone. Most current smartphones I wouldn’t put in them, though—have a jacket with flat bottom or zipper pockets to protect that and keys. I definitely never put my keys in pants pockets unless they’re a cargo pocket entirely outside the leg, and that is especially true for stretchy ones like these since anything in the pocket will have more ways to dig into skin given the stretch of the fabric.All in all, aside from the small visual annoyance when I first put them on and me not liking the waist elastic showing when a t-shirt is over it, I really like these. I especially appreciate that they have petite sizes that actually are the measurements stated! (I’ve had ones that claim they’re best for 5’2-5’4” that fully show the ankles of my 5’3” body even when photos show them covering socks entirely, so I wasn’t sure these would actually be a proper fit at all after ohhh so many that were either ankle exposing lengths for ones saying they are for my height or equally as abnormal, pants 3-4” past the bottom of my sneakers still being called “regular” length, regular...

These stretchy pants are perfect business casual attire. They have a smooth waistband and pockets on each side. They have faux trouser pockets in the back that allow for a smooth silhouette. The order page says that these are yoga work pants and they are stretchy enough to do yoga, but they have a nice enough look to wear to an office job. Overall, these are a really nice pair of pants and seem to be true to size . I am 5’4 and 185 pounds and these pants are XL. I washed and dried in the dryer prior to taking these pictures and they did not shrink or wrinkle.

I ordered these pants in Large, Regular Height, Dark Navy. I chose the Large because the size chart listed it as a size 10, and my measurements put me between the Medium and Large. I normally choose pants according to my waist measurement because I have smaller hips. My waist is 30.5 inches and my hips are 36.5 inches.After wearing them, I think a Medium would probably have been the better size for me, especially because the fabric has so much stretch. However, the Large worked very well because these pants have an adjustable drawstring inside the waistband. It isn't a pair of strings hanging down - it is a continuous loop. I simply pulled it tighter and tied a small knot inside, and it stays completely hidden. I can even tuck in a shirt without seeing the adjustment.Once adjusted, the pants lay nicely across my waist and hips and have a relaxed, straight-leg fit. I really like the seam detail running down the front because it gives them a polished appearance.The wide, flat waistband is comfortable without digging in and works especially well with a tucked-in shirt. The front pockets are a useful size without adding bulk to the sleek look of the pants.The fabric is 70% nylon and 30% elastane. It is soft, smooth and very stretchy, with a nice drape. I washed them in cold water and drip-dried them, and they came out nicely. They also don't seem particularly prone to wrinkling.I'm 5'6", and the Regular length was just right for me. With a flat shoe, the pants sit at the top of my shoe, while there is still enough length to wear them with a heel.These are versatile enough for office or business-casual wear, while still being comfortable for everyday use. They have the comfort of yoga pants but a much more polished appearance.One sizing note: Based on my 30.5" waist and 36.5" hips, I would choose a Medium if I ordered them again. The Large worked because of the adjustable inside drawstring, but I think the Medium would give me a better overall fit.Overall, I really like these pants. They are comfortable, flattering, easy to care for, and polished enough for work.I would definitely consider buying another pair.

I ordered these because I wanted comfortable pants that could pass as dress pants for work. They fit fine, have a good amount of stretch, and the pockets are useful, but overall they were pretty unremarkable. They don’t look bad, but they also didn’t feel especially flattering or polished compared with other work pants I already own.There’s nothing wrong enough with them to strongly dislike them—they’re just basic stretchy black pants that get the job done. For the price, the value is okay, but they aren’t a pair I’m excited to wear or would go out of my way to buy again.

These pants are really nice. They look like dress pants but feel like yoga pants. They fit true to size and are a little forgiving so size down if you’re in between sizes. The color is nice and will go well with most tops and shoes. My biggest issues are the small front pockets - my phone barely fits in it - and the fake back pockets! It might as well not have the fake pockets in the back. Other than that, they’re pretty nice looking pants.
